Courts, Competition & Community: Highlights from the End of Summer Smash

The End of Summer Smash Tournament honoring the Emma Scanlon Memorial Foundation took place at Proshot Pickleball from August 22–24, 2025, bringing together players, families, and friends for a weekend that combined competitive play with a meaningful purpose.

A Tournament with Heart

This annual event is more than just a competition—it is a celebration of Emma Scanlon’s strength, love, and community spirit. Every match honored her legacy, while also supporting the Emma Scanlon Memorial Scholarship, which provides opportunities for students facing challenges to shine just as Emma did.

Competitive Highlights

• Matches were held across Doubles, Mixed, Split Age, and Youth divisions

• Skill brackets ranged from 3.0 to 4.5+, with age groups from 9–49 and 50+

• $1,500 cash prize awarded to the Gold Medalist in Doubles

• All matches were played in Proshot’s 100% indoor, rainproof facility

The tournament featured exciting rallies, close matches, and standout performances across all divisions. Sportsmanship and camaraderie were at the forefront throughout the weekend.
